Since retiring from MMA in 2011, the former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Randy Couture has made a career on the big screen.

With 34 listed acting credits on his IMDB profile, "The Natural" became one of the first fighters to crossover into the movie industry.

Starring alongside an all-star cast in The Expendables series, Couture is now set to try his hand as a leading man in comedy alongside his continued work with the PFL

Deadline reported that Couture is set to star in his first family movie with Swen Studios' "F Plus" being bought by Premiere Entertainment Group.

The plot synopsis is previewed as a movie about "a group of young teenagers who plan the perfect heist to break into their middle school to alter their failing test grades"

F Plus Has Already Finished Production Among The SAG-AFTRA Strikes

Across the board, the movie and TV industry has been heavily impacted by the recent SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists have caused a mass shutdown of production, campaigning for better pay and job security.

Couture's upcoming project F Plus has already wrapped production after being one of the first independent movies to get a green light to continue amongst the union strikes.

The President of Swen Studios, Eli Lipnik issued this message following the end of production.

“We are very proud of all the hard work by our cast and crew and are grateful that SAG granted us a waiver during this complicated time. We’re also looking forward to introducing Randy to a new audience with F Plus being his first family film,”

The film will be screened to potential buyers during the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
