Pirates’ minor league affiliates managed just one win to start the week, although 2020 first round pick Nick Gonzales homered and singled to maintain his place atop the International League hits leaderboard.

Triple-A Indianapolis lost 6-2 to the Louisville Bats, with Gonzales’ fourth home run of the year accounting for all of their scoring.

The Altoona Curve couldn’t string together a pair of wins after breaking a 15-game losing streak, losing 8-1 to the Somerset Patriots. Sean Sullivan got roughed up early, allowing a pair of two-run homers.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers managed just three hits in a 7-3 road loss, while Thomas Harrington made his first appearance of the year in a rehab start for the Bradenton Marauders, pitching three innings to get the 4-0 shutout started.
